IT was love at first sight for Andrew Steel and Karen Browne, who were married at Brighton Town Hall.
The couple, of St Thomas’s Street, Ryde, met at Shanklin’s Harry’s Bar.
The bridegroom, a paint shop foreman, and the bride, a cook, enjoyed a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family.
The bride wore an ivory, ruched-bodice dress and carried a bouquet of purple lisianthus and mini orange gerbera.
Tony Williamson was best man and Caroline Williamson gave the bride away.
The wedding party had champagne and canapes at the Queen’s Hotel on Brighton seafront, before a meal at The House restaurant.
All the wedding party went on the carousel on the beach.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Lake Garda and Venice and as a wedding present to themselves, they bought themselves a motorhome, which they plan to tour in during the summer.
