Stickland & Tipping

A COUPLE who could not stand each other at school, before they met again in 1997 on New Year’s Eve, were married at St John The Baptist Church, Northwood.
The bride, Dawn Tipping, and bridegroom Peter Stickland both live at Garden Way, Newport.
The bride wore an ivory dress, with crystal and faux pearls on lace, with a chiffon skirt and net petticoat.
She carried a teardrop bouquet containing freesias, roses, calla lilies, blue thistles and ivy.
She was attended by Libby Hine, 16 (bride’s niece), and Emily Moreno-Giles, 11 (bridegroom’s sister), who both wore navy dresses with lace.
Michael Bennett, a friend of the couple, was the best man.
The Rev Roger Whatley officiated.
A reception was held at the Ryde Castle Hotel.
