Thomas-Thomas wedding
A COUPLE who met in a Shanklin nightclub almost three decades ago, Lee Anthony Thomas and Pauline Anne Thomas, were married at The Parkbury Hotel, Sandown.

The bridegroom, a fabricator and welder, is the son of Mr Alan Thomas, of Melville Street, Sandown, and the late Mrs Margaret Thomas.

The bride, a dental receptionist, is the daughter of the late Mr Robert Bellinger and the late Mrs Margaret Bellinger.

The bride wore a full-length taffeta dress with embroidered lace, sequins, beading and crystal detailing throughout. She wore a diamante tiara, which secured a short veil with crystal detailing, and carried a teardrop bouquet of pale pink, cream and hot pink roses.

She was attended by Vikki Beeney (couple’s daughter), Hayley Reed (bridegroom’s niece) and Catherine Reed (bridegroom’s niece), who wore full-length one-shouldered hot pink dresses and carried bouquets of pale pink and cream roses. Alisha Beeney (couple’s granddaughter) was flower girl. She wore a full-length ivory dress with lace butterfly detailing.

Connor Beeney and Alfie Beeney (couple’s grandsons) were page boys. They wore suits to match the bridegroom’s.

Robin Reed (bridegroom’s brother) was best man.

The bride was given away by Robert Beeney (bride’s son).

A reception was held at the Parkbury Hotel, followed by a honeymoon cruising the Mediterranean.
