A COUPLE who met at middle school married in their teens.
Quality assurance engineer, 17-year-old Joe David Wolton, is the son of David Wolton, of Sutton, Surrey, and Karen Anderson, of Rookley.
His 18-year-old receptionist bride, Julianne Catherine Buckland, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Patrick Buckland, of Newbridge.
The bride wore a strapless full-length ivory dress with jewelled bodice, head-dress and veil. She carried a teardrop bouquet of baccara roses and Singapore orchids.
She was attended by maid of honour, 17-year-old childhood friend Emily Turner, and bridesmaids Becky Rice (bridegroom’s sister) and friends Charli Morrish and Sophia Carbonell. All wore deep plum full-length dresses and carried single ivory roses.
Best men were the bridegroom’s brother Simon Wolton and friend Ben Ramskill. Ushers were Sean Buckland (bride’s brother) and Sam Warr.
Registrar David Randall officiated at Landguard Manor, where a reception was held for 100 people and was followed by a honeymoon in Yucatan, Mexico.
