Young-May wedding
A HONEYMOON in Paris followed the wedding of Nicholas Young and Juliet May.

The bridegroom, a catering assistant, is the son of Mr and Mrs Peter Young, of Alexandra Road, Shanklin.

The bride, a trainee primary school teacher, is the daughter of Ken Parslow and Lisa May, of Fernhill, Wootton.

The bride wore a handmade ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline, small beading on the bodice and flowers with crystal bead detail. She wore a Swarovski crystal tiara and a cathedral veil, while carrying a bouquet of dark red roses.

The bride was attended by her friends, Samantha Parkman and Ruby Frampton, who wore dark red knee-length dresses and carried ivory rose bouquets.

Ellie Louise-May (bride’s niece), was flower girl and wore an ivory and burgundy dress with butterfly embroidery and carried an ivory basket with red butterfly detail with fresh flower petals inside.

The best man was Sean Rogers, while Piers Young (bridegroom’s brother) and Anthony May (bride’s brother) acted as ushers.

The Rev Kenneth Robinson conducted the ceremony at St Mildred’s Church, Whippingham.

A reception at the Victoria Lodge Hotel, Shanklin, followed.
