THE Island's Wightlink Warriors will be aiming to put the brakes on a six-meeting losing streak when they entertain the Mildenhall Fen Tigers this evening (Thursday).

The 'Fen men' will be starting out on a season defining run of four fixtures in four days as they seek to break into the top four of the league and secure a place in the end of season play-off showdowns.
With new riding averages established on Friday last week (1), the Warriors team manager, Jackie Vatcher, has the opportunity to switch the riding order, which he hopes may change the side's fortunes.
"With James (Cockle) moving up to ride at number one, I’m also switching Ben Wilson and Connor Coles, to see if this can give us a better finish over the closing heats."
Gates will open at 5.30pm, with open pit access available from 5.45pm to 615pm, with the rider parade at 6.45pm ready for tapes up at 7pm.
Island reggae singer Derek Sandy will be performing on the night and the mini Warriors interval race will give another opportunity for kids to ride or run round one lap of the speedway circuit.
Team to face Mildenhall Fen Tigers: James Cockle, Chris Widman, Connor Coles, Scott Campos, Ben Wilson, Jamie Sealey and Adam Portwood.
