ISLE of Wight runner Jess Martin has been selected in the Great Britain squad for next month's World Championships in London.
Martin, who competed for Team GB at the 2016 Olympics, will run in the 10,000m, as she did in Rio.
The championships start in London on August 4.
Posting on her Facebook page, Martin, who grew up in Shanklin and now lives in Andorra, said: "I'm so excited to have been selected for the World Championships next month.
"It means more than I can say and it's on home soil.
"I'm very excited to finish this year off with a bang.
"It was a goosebumps moment seeing my name on the list.
"Thank you for all the messages I've received."
