ISLE of Wight rider Sarah Holmes was thrilled with both her horses, after a top ten finish in both classes at the London Capital and Finance Osborne Horse Trials yesterday (Wednesday).

In the BEDE Events-sponsored Warrior Bowl, Sarah finished ninth with Greenvale Coriado, owned by Caroline Ross of Medina Foodservice.

In the Albert Bowl, sponsored by River Lodge Equestrian, Sarah was sixth on her own Dunganstown Fleur.

Sarah said: "I am really pleased because both horses jumped double clears and very few riders did that today.

"The two horses are very different. Greenvale Coriado needs plenty of encouragement to keep galloping, while Fleur is my pocket rocket and loves to go.

"Greenvale Coriado has also only just started at this level and is still a baby really, so I was really pleased with him.

"The support I have received at this event has been outstanding...almost overwhelming at times and I can't wait to compete again.”

Sarah will be in action again today (Thursday) on her most experienced horse, Lowhill Clover, and is expected to start in the dressage arena at about 11.13am.
