THE Isle of Wight Wightlink Warriors hit the speedway track for the final time this year as they head to Sussex to face the Eastbourne Eagles in the National League this evening (Saturday).
The Warriors line-up will include Max Clegg and Nathan Stoneman as guest riders in the absence of Alfie Bowtell and Ben Morley, who are on National Championship duty at Rye House, in Hoddeston, Hertfordshire.
The Warriors team will also include Danno Verge, Scott Campos, Chris Widman, Jamie Bursill and Shaun Tedham.
A group of Warriors supporters will make the trip to Eastbourne this afternoon straight after they have taken part in the 24-hour Cancer Research UK Relay for Life charity walk, at Smallbrook Stadium speedway track, which got underway at noon.
The meeting will start at 8.30pm.
