Traffic information


One week from Thursday, February 26, 2016

Apse Heath: A3056 Newport Road (from Apse Heath mini-roundabout to a point 120 metres towards Arreton). Traffic lights from 9.30am until 4pm between Monday and Wednesday.

Carisbrooke: Castle Street (outside 16). Traffic lights from 9am on Tuesday until 4.30pm on Monday, March 7.

Cowes: Church Road will be closed from 9am on Monday until 4pm on Wednesday, March 9, between a point 85 metres to the north of Union Road and Castle Road. The one-way restriction will be suspended to allow access. 

Godshill: A3020 Newport Road (from Munsley Farm Lane to Worsley Road). Traffic lights from 9.30am to 4pm, Monday to Wednesday, March 9.

Godshill: Merryl Lane will be closed on one day between Wednesday and next Friday, March 4, from 9am until 4pm, between Whitwell Road and Sheepwash Lane.

Godshill: Godshill Park Road will be closed on one day between Monday and Wednesday from 9am until 4pm, between A3020 Shanklin Road and the end of the surfaced highway to the south east.

Newport: Long Lane will be closed from 9am on Monday until 5pm next Friday, March 4, from Buckbury Lane/Buckbury Heights to Downend Road.

Rookley: A3020 Main Road (various locations from Niton Road to Pritchett’s Way). Traffic lights from 9.30am until 3.30pm between Monday and Wednesday for footway works.

Ryde: Selden Avenue will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm between today (Friday) and Tuesday, from the eastern junction with Marina Avenue to the western junction with Marina Avenue for carriageway repairs.

Ryde: Gatehouse Road will be closed from 9am on Monday until 4pm on Wednesday, between Carters Road and Deacons Lane for the installation of a new gas connection.

Sandown: Albert Road/Victoria Road will be closed on one day from 9am to 4pm between today (Friday) and Tuesday. The closure is between Station Avenue and Avenue Road for carriageway repairs. The one-way restriction will be temporarily suspended from High Street to Avenue Road.

Seaview: Seagrove Manor Road will be closed on one day between today (Friday) and Tuesday from 9am until 4pm between Old Seaview Lane and the end of the highway to the south and east.  

Ventnor: Pound Lane will be closed from 8am on Monday until 5pm next Friday, March 4, between Albert Street to the goods entrance to the Co-op store.

Ventnor: Trinity Road will be closed on one day between today (Friday) and Tuesday, from 9am until 4pm, between the section of Trinity Road leading to Bonchurch Village Road and Madeira Road.  

Ventnor: Belgrave Road will be closed from 9am on Monday until 4pm next Friday, March 4, between A3055 Alpine Road and Bath Road.  The one-way restriction will be suspended.

Whitwell: Southford Lane will be closed on one day between Monday and Wednesday, from 9am until 4pm, between Newport Road and Whitwell Road.  

Yarmouth: High Street will be closed on one day between Monday and Wednesday, from 9am until 4pm, between South Street and St James’s Square. The one-way restriction will be suspended to allow access.
