One week from Friday, November 27, 2015

Brading: High Street will be closed from 7pm to midnight on Tuesday, between Quay Lane and West Street, for repairs.

Brighstone: North Street will be closed to vehicles from Main Road to Upper Lane until next Friday, December 4. Also, Upper Lane will be closed at the junction with North Street on Thursday and next Friday, for drainage work.

Brighstone: Broad Lane will be closed from Main Road to Wicken Hill Lane until next Friday, December 4, for drainage work.

Brighstone: Mill Lane/ Wicken Hill Lane / Thorncross Lane will be closed between 8am and 4pm each day (Monday to Friday) until next Friday, December 4, from New Road to Chine Lane, for resurfacing.

Chale: Chale Street will be closed from 9.15am to 4pm on Tuesday, between Upper House and Newman Lane, for telephone pole replacement.

Cowes: Bath Road will be closed for repair between 9am and 4pm until next Friday, December 4, from Bars Hill to The Parade. The one-way restriction will be suspended.

Godshill: Beacon Alley will be closed from Whitwell Road to Bagwich Lane until Monday, December 21, for drainage work.

Havenstreet: Main Road (outside Sans Souci). Traffic lights until next Friday, December 4, for a new water connection.

Newport: IW Rifles freedom of the Island event tomorrow (Saturday). Drill Hall Road, High Street, Pyle Street, St James’s Square, High Street and St Thomas’s Square, Pyle Street, St James’s Square, High Street and Drill Hall Road will each be closed for a procession. It will leave Drill Hall at 11.45am and should arrive at St Thomas’s Square at noon. A service will be held and the procession will march back to Drill Hall Road, arriving at about 1pm.

Newport: Fairlee Road (various locations). Traffic lights / lane restrictions from 7.30pm to midnight on one evening between Wednesday and next Friday, December 4, for trial holes by Island Roads.

Newport: St James’s Square will be closed from Pyle Street to High Street between 3.30pm and 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) for the switching on of the Christmas lights. 

Newport: Christmas Carnival. Furrlongs, South Street, St James’s Street, Pyle Street, Carisbrooke Road, High Street, Quay Street and the Quay will each be closed for a short period tomorrow (Saturday) for the carnival procession. The procession is due to form up in Matalan Car Park at 5pm and leave at 5.45pm. It should arrive on The Quay by 7.15pm.

Shanklin: Collingwood Road will be closed, between Landguard Road and Brook Road, on one or two days, from 9am to 4pm, between Monday and next Friday, December 4, for repairs.

Wootton: High Street (junction with Station Road). Traffic lights from 7.30pm to 11pm each evening from Wednesday to next Friday, December 4, for repairs.
