THIS is the latest Isle of Wight Council bulletin warning of possible traffic delays. Watch for diversions. Access to businesses is maintained where possible.
Apse Heath/Lake - A3056 Cheverton Shute (Cherry Thatch to Cheverton Shute Camp site). Temporary traffic lights until about 4pm next Friday, March 19, for the construction of a new footpath.
Arreton/Downend - Downend Road junction with Mersley Down Road. Temporary traffic lights until April 9 during road widening.
Brook - A3055 Military Road (at layby on Compton/Freshwater side of Brook Chine car park). Temporary traffic lights for the foreseeable future due to the close proximity of the cliff edge to the Military Road.
Cowes - Castle Hill (from Baring Road/Castle Road to Queens Road). Temporary traffic lights until 4pm next Friday, March 19, for the installation of a new gas main.
Gunville - Gunville Road from 9am on Monday, March 22, to 5pm on Thursday, April 1, between Chapel Close and Broadwater Lane for drainage works.
Newport - Furrlongs closed from St George’s Way to Pan Lane until about Wednesday, June 30, for carriageway repair works.
