Traffic Information

One week from Friday, December 19, 2014

Bembridge: Lane End Road (junction of Foreland Road and Steyne Road). Traffic lights from 9am until 3.30pm on Monday, January 5, Tuesday, January 6, or Wednesday, January 7, to re-bed a manhole frame and cover.

Freshwater: School Green Road (from near junction with Afton Road to a point 150 metres towards Brookside Road). Traffic lights between 9am and 4.30pm today (Friday) and, if necessary, on Monday, for cable works.

Freshwater: Cameron Close will be closed to traffic until May 18, 2015, from 45 metres north of the junction with Camp Road and the end of the surfaced highway, for the demolition of buildings and construction of a development.

Godshill: Shanklin Road. Traffic lights may be in use from 9am until 3.30pm today (Friday), for gully cleaning.

Newchurch: Knighton Shute (at bottom of shute). Traffic lights from 9am until 3.30pm on Monday, January 5, Tuesday, January 6 or Wednesday, January 7, to remove a tree.

Newport: Carisbrooke Road (junction with Recreation Ground Road). Traffic lights from 9am to 3.30pm each day between Monday, January 5 and Friday, 7, carriageway repairs.

Northwood: Pallance Road, from Pallance Lane to Wyatts Lane,  will be closed between 9am on Monday, January 5, and Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Traffic lights will be in operation at times. The closure is for drainage work.

Ryde: The Strand will be closed between East Street and West Hill Road until Friday, February 27, for a sewer flood alleviation scheme. Traffic lights will be in operation when necessary.

Sandown: High Street will be closed from Albert Road to Beachfield Road at junction with Melville Street and St Johnís Road will be closed from High Street to Union Street, between 7am and 6pm on Wednesday, for 

Sandown: Christmas fun day. The one-way restriction in York Road (from St Johnís Road to High Street) will be suspended to allow access.

Shanklin: Victoria Avenue (outside 26). Traffic lights from Monday, January 19, until Friday, January 23, for the installation of electric connections.
