SHANKLIN'S first Men in Sheds has arrived in full force at the Winchester House YMCA.
Men in Sheds is a way of getting principally retired men together to work on projects, drink tea and generally get out the house.
They act like the Island's very own handymen — their aim is to do jobs for the community, such as gardening and repair work, free of charge.
The men meet from 2pm until 4pm on Mondays at the YMCA in Shanklin to have a cup of tea, utilise their skills, and do a bit of work.
New members are welcome.
