Human remains that had been under sand for a considerable time were found at Springvale beach.
HUMAN remains were found at Springvale Beach, near Seaview, yesterday (Thursday).
Police have said that after initial inspection, the condition of the remains would suggest that they had been buried under the sand for a considerable time.
A member of the public reported the discovery at 10.38am yesterday.
The remains will be recovered by police for further analysis and investigation.
A police spokesman said enquiries are ongoing.
