THOUSANDS of revellers lined the streets of Ventnor this evening (Wednesday) to enjoy the town's annual carnival parade.

Characters from Peter Pan, Beatrix Potter books and much loved stars of the Toy Story movies, Buzz Lightyear and Woody the cowboy, joined the parade which also featured carnival queen floats from across the Isle of Wight.

Music ranged from crazy jazz to the precision marching of the Vectis Corps of Drums.
