A SCOOTER rider suffered serious injuries during a crash in Apse Heath this morning (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called at 5.59am to reports of a collision on Ventnor Road, at the junction with Newport Road, Apse Heath.
Police said a Renault Clio and a scooter were involved in the collision.
The scooter rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, police said.
