THE ISLE of Wight Festival has been nominated for one of 'Q' magazine's prestigious awards.
The annual Island event which attracts some of the best music acts in the world has made the shortlist for best festival in the awards.
The awards ceremony is due to take place at London's Roundhouse on October 17 and is already sold out.
Other accolades being given at the ceremony include best breakthrough act, best track and best album.
The awards are decided by public vote. People can cast their vote until October 5 by visiting the magazine's website.
