THE Royal Aeronautical Society, Isle of Wight branch, invites you to its first lecture after the 2018 summer break: Vulcan to the Sky.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr Robert Pleming, company secretary of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust, tomorrow (Thursday).

The talk will explore the past 21 years of the Vulcan programme and the plans for the future of Vulcan XH558.

Robert will also discuss the next potential project of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust — the restoration of Canberra WK163.

The lecture will also offer an opportunity to reflect on the state of jet heritage flying in the UK following the Shoreham air crash.

The lecture is being held in the conference hall at the Isle of Wight College at 6pm. Members and non-members welcome.
