Magic the cat is a stray who has adopted the nursery as his home.

Gay said: “People nearby are feeding him but don’t want him or can’t take him as a pet.

“He’s been hanging round the nursery for months now.

“No owner has come forward. He lies on the counter in his tiny cardboard box and customers love him.

“The staff put joke price labels on it.”
