THE POPULAR Medina Tattoo concert returns to Medina Theatre on Sunday (4) for an afternoon of music and song in aid of Isle of Wight charity, Challenge and Adventure.

Last year's sell-out concert raised more than £3,000 for the young people's charity, which works with disadvantaged and challenging young people on the Island, using adventurous outdoor activities and tailored support to build their confidence, raise their self-esteem and help them re-engage at school, home and the local community.

The concert will see a great variety of performers, singers and bands collaborating and performing solo.

There will be performances from the Rose and Thistle and Hampshire Caledonian pipe bands, Medina Marching Band and the Celtic rock stylings of the Wight Hot Pipes.

Even organiser, Dr Kieron Cooney, will get involved and give a bagpipes performance.

Other acts include Samantha Howard with her Vocal Chords Group, The Crew and Bloodstone Border Morris dancers and the White Rose Scottish dancers.

Doors open at 1.30pm for the 2pm show and tickets are going fast. Those interested can buy the £12 tickets from the Medina Theatre Box Office on 823884 or visit www.medinatheatre.co.uk.
