PREMIER Inn have launched a new website to keep Isle of Wight residents up to date on the progress of the hotel being built on Sandown Esplanade.
Parent company Whitbread said a 'Builder's Bulletin' on the page will be updated regularly as the works progress.
The new £10 million hotel will have 100 bedrooms, plus a Cookhouse and Pub restaurant.
The hotel and restaurant will create around 65 year-round jobs, Whitbread has said.
The website, www.premierinnsandown.info, has a section 'what's happening on site?', which will be updated with details of the construction timetable and what the main contractor will be doing month on month.
Premier Inn, Sandown, is targeted to open in late 2019 and a more exact timetable will be confirmed once the site preparation is complete and the overall construction programme finalised.
