BONFIRE Night is fast approaching and for those of you looking to brave the cold and catch a glimpse of some fireworks, we have a place for you to go.

WHEN: Tonight (Friday)

Where: Bembridge, Steyne Park

Time: From 6.30pm until 8.30pm

Tickets: Free entry (donations to Bembridge Youth and Community Centre).

This year's event will feature stalls in the hall, food stalls outside, DJ on the terrace and a bar will be open all night. The fireworks start at 7.30pm.

Where: Ryde, Haylands Primary School

Time: From 5.30pm

Tickets: Available at the gate on the day

This year's display will feature fireworks from Titanium Firework Ltd, known for their fireworks displays at the Edinburgh Hogmanay, London New Year Celebration and London Rugby World Cup final.

There will be a barbecue, hot drinks, ice creams and even fairground rides.

The display has been organised by the Rotary Club of Ryde, in partnership with Haylands Primary School and supported by Ryde Town Council.

Where: Sandown, esplanade

Time: From 4pm.

Tickets: Free (donations to Sandown Carnival appreciated)

Sandown's annual celebrations will feature family fun and entertainment, music and a range of hot food stalls.

There will be performances from the Oyster Girls morris side, Jukebox Jazz and a fire show on the beach by the Ryde Extreme Performers.

Meet Captain Jack Sparrow, Wonder Woman and Cheeko the friendly squirrel from 6pm.

Lots of side shows including bungee trampolines and vintage amusements will also be on hand to keep people entertained.

The event culminates at 8pm with a grand fireworks display from the end of the pier.

Where: Victoria Recreation Ground, Newport

Time: From 4pm (fireworks scheduled for 7pm)

Tickets: Adults £7.50 and children under 16 and over 5, £5. Under 5s are free.

Spooks and Sparks, presented by Isle of Wight Radio and StageGear Rentals, is the Island's family-friendly fireworks and fancydress party.

This year, thousands of adults and children are invited to join in the fun which will include live music and entertainment, food, refreshments — and, of course, a stunning fireworks display.

There will be a prize for best fancy dress on the night — a weekend at Lower Hyde holiday park.

Free Balloon modelling and face painting (organisers ask for a voluntary donation to Mountbatten).

Where: Yarmouth, The Square and The Common

Time: From 6.30pm

Tickets: Free (donations to Yarmouth Carnival Committee appreciated)

The annual Yarmouth fireworks starts with a guy competition being judged outside the Bugle at 6.30pm. There will also be a hog roast, mulled wine, toffee apples and hot chestnuts on sale in The Square.

At around 6.45pm, a torchlight parade will walk towards The Common where the fireworks, depending on the weather, will be released just off The Common or at the end of the pier.
