A COMBINED 121 years of service by staff at Inver House was celebrated at the care home's long service awards.

A total of 14 staff members at the Bembridge care home were recognised at the long service awards, with seven attending the awards ceremony.

All together, the staff have racked up an impressive 121 years service to the care home.

Margaret Wilder, admin assistant and former deputy manager, was given a large bunch of flowers by resident Mo Rec-ord as she celebrated her 20 years of service.

Margaret is also the founder of Inver's new league of friends called ‘Friends of Inver’. She does a lot of fundraising for the home and has shown a lot of commitment to Somerset Care over her 20 years of service.

Manager Sheryl Beebee said: "The long service awards are a great way to celebrate the team's commitment to quality care.

"I would like to thank them all for their dedication and hard work. It is a great achievement and something that makes Inver House a home."
