EVEN those with a Bah Humbug disposition will get in the festive mood by watching The Island Savoyards' latest production.

The popular amateur dramatic group is taking on Alan Menken's adaptation of A Christmas Carol, and will perform it at Shanklin Theatre next week.

With professionally designed and made costumes, a new custom-built set, a live orchestra and fantastic performances, this family show will be the perfect warm-up to the festive period.

The Charles Dickens' story features Ebenezer Scrooge, a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others, but he is forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his past, present, and future.

Starring Steve Jones as Scrooge and Logan Haywood as Tiny Tim.

The show is on November 22, 23 and 24 at 7.30pm, and November 24 and 25 at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available from Shanklin Theatre Box Office and on www.shanklintheatre.com.
