Fire crews called to fire at food wholesalers in Shanklin
REPORTS have been received of a small fire at W.A. Foods wholesalers in Pomona Road, Shanklin this afternoon (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Shanklin, Ventnor and Ryde have been called the scene, as well as a unit from Newport.
The alarm was raised at around 2.30pm.

The alert was sparked due to a blocked food smoker. Emergency crews stood down at 3.15pm
