CANADIAN ROCKERS Jo-Jo O' & the Woods love the Isle of Wight music scene so much they have returned to launch their new record.

The band, who have played the Isle of Wight Festival and Ventnor Fringe, arrived on our shores earlier this year to play with Isle of Wight band Confed Fred.

Singer songwriter Jo-Jo O'Donoghue said: "We have been collaborating and touring with them as our backing band. We have been blown away by the support we've received on the Island, and we're proud to have worked with some brilliant Island musicians.

"We are returning to the Island to celebrate the official UK release for our new record, MoonChild."

The band have just played a three week Canadian tour accompanied by Isle of Wight musicians Keir Hicks on lead guitar, Max Battista on bass and Andy Barker on drums.

You can catch them at a moon themed bash at Strings Bar and Venue, Newport, on Saturday, December 1.

Isle of Wight duo Sun Morrow and the Cabaret Allure Showgirl Troupe will be supporting them.
