ANOTHER accessible bike event, organised by Isle Access, was held earlier this month.

Supported by the Isle of Wight Council Sports Development Unit, Pedalls from the New Forest and Wightlink, the event provided an opportunity for people who are not able to ride regular bikes to enjoy cycling.

The event, held at Seaclose Park, displayed specially adapted bikes to give people the enjoyment and freedom of cycling for the first time.

Jan Brookes, chief executive of Isle Access, said: "It was an amazing day. We saw a fantastic impact from the session that we have provided. Discovering cycling can make a real difference — it was a life changing day."

Isle of Wight charity, Isle Access, are passionate about providing better access for all to businesses, services and leisure experiences and plan to buy their own fleet of bikes to keep on the Island.
