Expanding laptop battery causes concern
AN expanding laptop batter sparked concerns from a householder in Lake last night (Thursday).
The woman called Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service for advice at 10.17pm.
She was told to put the battery outside her home and monitor it for a few days. No emergency crews attended.
