THE Isle of Wight Youth Trust celebrated its tenth annual gala dinner on Saturday night.

170 guests attended the glamorous event at Northwood House.

A charity auction was held to raise vital funds for the trust, with many items and services donated by Isle of Wight businesses and individuals.

Youth Trust Patrons Rob and Josie da Bank curated the evening bringing their unique creative sheen to the event.

Josie decorated Northwood House with hundreds of twinkling lights and stunning foliage arrangements, while Rob kept guests dancing into the early hours with an impressive DJ set.

Mairead Healy, chief executive of the Youth Trust, said: "This event is always spectacular and last Saturday was no exception. As always, the whole Island community came together to show their support for the Youth Trust and our work to support young Islanders.

"This event has raised well over £400,000 since its inception and has made an important impact on the level of service the Youth Trust is able to provide.

"The past 18 months have been a time of rapid change and development for the Youth Trust and the funds raised on the evening will go a long way towards ensuring we are able to keep up with the increasing demand on our services.

"We are offering more counselling sessions than ever before and moved to a larger building in September to accommodate our expansion.

"It was excellent to celebrate these developments, in addition to our fundraising success, with some of our most loyal supporters on Saturday evening.

"We would like to thank our founding sponsors at The Royal Hotel Ventnor for their continuous support over the past ten years through this incredible event.

"We are grateful to all our supporters who contributed to the night's success including IFPL who sponsored the evening’s champagne and canape reception and Spence Willard who sponsored the evening’s wine.

"Many other businesses and individuals contributed to making the evening a success by donating services or items to be auctioned on the night.

"Our gala dinner is a true community event and we would like to thank all who contributed to its success."
