NEWCHURCH Primary School embraced the Hindu festival of Diwali during RE day.
Every class in the school learned about the iconic festival of lights and there was a dance workshop delivered by educational theatre company, West End in Schools.
The workshop explored classic Hindu stories with the children, who re-enacted the stories through dance.
There was also a special Diwali-themed lunch menu to celebrate Indian culture.
