Emergency services called to accident in Wootton this evening
EMERGENCY services have been called to a road traffic accident which has taken place in Wootton High Street this evening (Tuesday).
Southern Vectis reported that the accident which took place at around 6.20pm will cause delays to routes four and nine and is advising passengers to allow time for their journeys.
UPDATED:
Firefighters from Ryde and Newport were called to the accident which involved three vehicles. The firefighters helped ambulance crews with one female casualty.
One person has been taken to hospital following the crash. Their condition is unknown at present.
