ISLE of Wight skeleton racer Kim Murray will be making her historic World Cup debut for the Great Britain team in Latvia this weekend.
The 30 year old, who won her first gold medal in the sport two weeks ago in an IBSF Europe Cup event in Winterberg, Germany, is in Sigulda aiming to cash in on her recent great form and confidence.

Kim will do her skeleton runs tomorrow and on Sunday.
She won her gold by beating race favourites Janine Becker, of Germany, and her British teammate, Madelaine Smith.

The Islander won her race with a combined time of 1min 55.50 secs from her two runs — beating Becker by nine hundredths of a second to come first and hitting a top speed of 128.1kmph.
“I’m excited for the next few weeks. It’s been a great start to the season," she told the Isle of Wight County Press.
