IT was all the fun of the Christmas Fayre at Nine Acres Community Primary School, Newport last Saturday (December 1).

There were tombolas, chocolate, teddies and decorated jars which were donated by children.

There were also many stalls including sand art, glitter tattoos, face painting, decorate a bauble, spin the wheel and lollipop island as well as craft stalls from the wider community.

The café, which was serving hotdogs, cakes, crisps, sweets and drinks, had a constant stream of customers and an opportunity for the children to visit Santa in his grotto was very popular.

The event ended with a raffle with around 70 prizes which had been donated by members of the school community and local businesses with a first prize of £100. The fayre was very successful and well supported and raised over £1400.

Nine Acres would like to thank the local businesses for their generosity as it supported a very successful fund raising year.
