Fire crews called to potential house fire in Ventnor.
FIREFIGHTERS were called out early this morning (Tuesday) to tackle a fire in the public toilets off Cowes High Street.
Two crews from Newport were called out at 6.01am to tackle the blaze in the toilets on The Cut, off the High Street by the pharmacy.
The firefighters used a ladder and hose reel jet to get the fire under control.
A spokesperson for the fire and rescue service said the fire was extinguished by 7.10am.
