The George in Yarmouth has been given a four star hygiene rating — a vast improvement on the zero stars it got in two inspections last year.
The prestigious hotel was inspected by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) on November 3 and got good ratings for the cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building, and the management of food safety.
The news comes after the hotel was deemed in need of urgent improvement in its inspections in 2017.
The George is a 17th Century townhouse that now has 17 bedrooms and two restaurants.
