FESTIVE treats, arts and crafts and a visit from the Isle of Wight's favourite donkeys were in store for visitors at Solent Grange's Christmas bazaar.

Residents helped run the stalls and managed the raffle and tombola to raise the money for the Staplers Road home's activity fund.

Activities coordinator Ali French said: "It was a really happy and lovely environment and it felt really welcoming.

"The response was overwhelming — the day was so well supported by families of the residents and even some families whose relatives aren't here anymore."

Ali organised the event alongside her colleague, Lou Mitchell, and both said they were very pleased the event raised £450.
