From A. Cromwell, 8 Sumner Road, Farnham, GU9 7JU:

A BIG thank you to everyone who has saved and sent me used postage stamps over the past 12 months.

To any new readers, don’t throw them away. It only takes a few seconds to tear round the stamp from the envelope so please get into the habit of saving them for the Lullaby Trust (www.lullabytrust.org.uk).

Funds raised from their sale support this charity to maintain life-saving research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), which still shatters more than 200 families a year in the UK.

It also helps them provide support for bereaved families, including their CONI (Care of the Next Infant) scheme, and to promote expert advice on safer baby sleep.

Also Little Lullaby aims to tackle high SIDS rates among young parents through peer support and reducing isolation. It can mean the difference between happiness and heartbreak for countless families. Your contributions, however large or small, are always welcome, as are original used ink cartridges.
