THE Island woke up to the news that the engine on board the Wight Sky ferry caught fire again for the third time in 15 months.

Five mainland crews were called to the scene at 6.25am.

The company later said the engine affected by the fire was brand new, and installed on Wight Sky during a refit this autumn.
