The Cowes Floating Bridge has stopped working this morning (Sunday).
According to Floaty Finder, the last crossing took place around 8am.
The council has not said any planned maintainance would take place this weekend, so the reason for the stoppage is currently unkown.

East Cowes Councillor, Karl Love, said: "It’s off until tomorrow (Monday) I’m informed as a fault has develop with West the prow.
"Shopping retail will be affected and interrupted again on this the most important weekend of Christmas shopping and no sign of an end to the chain issues which are deafening on board the vessel."
A footpassenger launch is now in place, and the council said service is expected to resume tomorrow (Christmas Eve) at 5am.
