A MUM has told of a terrifying ordeal for her family after a suspected BB Gun was fired at her baby's bedroom window, cracking the glass into four pieces.

Ronan Mullins-Jacobs who is just 13 months old was sleeping in a bedroom next to his father Jack in Brading High Street on Saturday night at 11.30pm when the attack happened.

His mother Roisin was downstairs at the time and heard the crash as the window was hit. Luckily no-one was hurt, but fears the incident could have been fatal and was terrifying for all involved.

Ronan's parents who relocated to the Isle of Wight last year and run a children's dance academy in Brading, must now pay out to replace the window just days before Christmas.

Police have as yet been unable to identify the person responsible. Ronan's parents have asked anyone with further information to please come forward.
