BURGLAR, Alexander Cooper, saw a door slightly open at a property and went inside without stealing anything, but returned later and took a laptop and Playstation as well as games, Isle of Wight magistrates were told.

Cooper, 20, of Fort Street, Sandown, admitted one charge of burglary and another charge of possession of cannabis when he appeared before the bench today (Monday).

The court was told the burglary, in Fort Street, took place on December 9 while people were inside the property.

The case was adjourned for sentence at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on February 1. Cooper was granted unconditional bail.
