POLICE have descended on the area outside Newport's McDonalds this afternoon (Monday).
At least four police officers arrived outside the fast-food venue at St James' Street, Newport, at about 5pm and spoke to a group about disorderly behaviour.
This follows last night's incident when a mum and her two-year-old daughter were left shaken after a rock was thrown through their car window in the same place.
One officer said they were trying to put forward a strong presence in the area and crack down on disorderly behaviour.
