A NEWPORT property may be in for a successful 2019 after being shortlisted as one of the most outstanding holiday accommodations in Europe.

One property at the Island Riding Centre has been recognised in the best accessible holiday home category in the European Holiday Home Awards.

Louise and Paul Buckner's property, Pegasus, is among seven finalists from across the continent.

Highlighting the greatest quality and diversity of short-term holiday rentals for tourists across Europe, the awards celebrate individual holiday homes that provide a unique, superior experience for their guests.

Rob Clarke, business development manager for the IW at cottages.com, said: "To be shortlisted and recognised amongst the very best holiday rentals, not just in the UK, but in Europe, is an incredible achievement.

"We’d like to congratulate Louise and Paul on their success, which is very well deserved."
