A MAN has been taken to hospital after a crash on the Middle Road this morning (Friday).
A car rolled in the single vehicle incident near Calbourne Water Mill.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said that one man was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the crash.
Police, fire and ambulance were all called out to the incident at around 6.30am.
Firefighters were called due to initial concerns over smoke coming from the vehicle, but upon arrival, no action was required.
A police spokesperson said that the road was passable, but warned drivers travelling that way this morning to take care and pass slowly.

The crashed car has now been cleared from the road.
