Air ambulance called to East Cowes
THE HAMPSHIRE and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was called to East Cowes this morning (Saturday).
The helicopter crew was tasked to assist an unwell patient at Cambridge Road as all Isle of Wight ambulances were on jobs at the time.
A spokesperson from the ambulance service said they receieved the call at 11.03am.
The patient has been transferred to Queen Alexandra Hospital.
