A TEENAGER has been airlifted to hospital after suffering severe burns during a boat fire at Cowes Yacht Haven in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
A joint police and fire service investigation is being launched today to establish the cause of the fire.
Emergency services were called out to Cowes at 12.30am after fire engulfed a 10 metre motor cruiser, a spokesperson for the fire and rescue service said.
An Isle of Wight Ambulance spokesperson said that a 16-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital in Swansea for specialist treatment.
