A BMW and an ambulance collided in Ryde this morning (Tuesday, 15).
Both vehicles sustained significant damage but there were no injuries to the people involved.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service confirmed there were no patients on board at the time, but were unable to comment on whether the ambulance was on its way to a patient.
The accident took place at the busy crossroad of Argyll Street, West Street and Green Street at approximately 9.50am, involving a black BMW 3-series and an ambulance.
