'IT'S cold' was Andi Chatzakis' first thought after she braved the shave for the Little Princess Trust this morning (Monday).
The 16-year-old Island Innovation VI Form student had her waist-length hair chopped for the charity in front of the entire school.
She said: "I wanted to donate my hair to a good cause. About two months ago I just decided to do it, out the blue."
Andi said she had prepared herself with a special selection of hats — including her favourite, a funky leopard print one — and was happy to think her hair would make a nice wig for someone.
The Little Princess Trust create wigs from donated hair for children who have experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy.
