RYDE and Cowes sea cadets were the lucky recipients of donations from the Merchant Mariners of Wight.
The mariners make a donation — known as the Mcginnity-Burman Awards — to Island charities with a seafaring connection each year.
Ryde Sea Cadets and Cowes Sea Cadets were each presented with a cheque for £750 at a presentation lunch at the New Holmwood Hotel, Cowes.
