ISLE of Wight darts pro Keegan Brown predicted teenage sensation Luke Littler would make it all the way to the final — and is expecting it to be a cracker at the Alexandra Palace in London tonight (Wednesday).

Littler, 16, is one win away from completing his sensational 'Ally Pally' dream after cruising into the final.

He has set Paddy Power World Championship alight over the last fortnight and is the youngest player to reach the decider of the sport’s premier tournament.

Littler has already proved he is the real deal after beating eighth seed Rob Cross 6-2 in stunning fashion.

The triumph followed stunning wins, which included five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld.

Keegan, who was knocked out of the opening round of the tournament, said: "How good is this Luke Littler? He’s the talk of the town.

"Everywhere you look or listen, his name is there. It’s thoroughly deserved.

"I thought I was good when I was 16, playing up the Ambassador Club in Gunville on a Monday night in the Newport League, but Luke is a different class compared to me at that age.

"After his first round performance, I felt he could win this!

"Tonight, he is playing in the final against one of my best friends on the tour, Luke Humphires, the newly-crowned number one, after his semi-final win last night.

"Humphires is on an 18-match winning streak and I think he deserves to be there.

"In my opinion, he’s been the best player on tour for the previous 18 months.

"We have a right cracker to watch later on! After watching both semi-finals last night I can’t call it.

"Would not surprise me if we end up getting a sudden death leg to call the world championships!"

Coverage on Sky Sports starts at 7pm, with the match starting at 8pm.
