Investigations are underway after a man reported being assaulted by a stranger in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said it was called to an address on Palmerston Road at 10.41pm on Saturday, April 27.
A man in his 30s was assaulted by another man, unknown to him.
He received minor injuries, police said.
Officers were alerted by the ambulance service and are now investigating the incident.
