A FIRE safety message was given to a pack of brownies when they visited their local fire station.
The Red Watch, at Eltham Fire Station, showed the girls and the leaders from the Eighth Eltham brownie pack around the busy station.
The 16 girls, between six to eight years old, and their brownie guide guider, Deirdre Pettitt, were taught the safety essentials by the fire fighters.
A spokesman from the station said the community safety message included information about the necessity of fitting smoke alarms, fire safety for kids and what to do if a fire starts.
